Lewis has been working with Online Casino New Zealand for nearly five years, having made the switch from working as a Marketing Manager in the Executive Search and Recruitment industries to leading content production in iGaming.
It was a bit of a change to what I was used to doing, but it has been an exciting journey so far.
Lewis has been invaluable to our team in terms of introducing content best practices to our writers and bringing a wealth of knowledge on the Kiwi market. Nonetheless, he insists, despite the success he has created, that he is still in a learning phase.
It's about trying to stay humble. There is always more you can learn, and as soon as you think you know it all, you miss opportunities to go one better than before. The last thing I want to do is to start making assumptions with my audience and stop delivering my best.
Outside of the office, Lewis is a big rugby fan, having grown up playing for Worcester RFC as a lock and having assisted in coaching teams in New Zealand and Europe.
I think my parents wish I had have turned out like the English Brodie Retallick or Sam Whitelock - especially being 6'8. It wasn't to be, though. Still, my passion for the game is there, as everyone in the OCNZ office knows with how much I talk about the Blues - I was lucky enough to live in Auckland for a year after I fell in love with New Zealand on my visits. I hope to be back one day!
